Gundog Training

Do you have a working gundog, retriever, spaniel or HPR and want to tap into their natural ability?
Then gundog training is perfect for you. These dogs often need an outlet as they are bred to work.
We can teach you how to effectively use a gundog whistle; and how to teach your dog to retrieve and hunt. You will learn heel work and steadiness exercises as well as how to direct your dog to an area.
We use toys and gundog dummies to teach them to work with you.

A great way to put your gundog skills into practice, learning in a small group at one of our Gundog workshops.
We will cover the reason behind each exercise and provide lots of practical coaching during each 2 hour session.
These are carried out in our training enclosure so we have plenty of room to practice the exercises with your dog and ask as many questions as you want.
The workshops are fun, with a relaxed atmosphere and we have a wide range of dog breeds (not just pure gundog breeds) who come along and have a go!
COMING SOON

Coming soon are the Karma Dogs Gundog Grades to enable you to test you and your dog’s ability
The grades will give you a set of exercises to practice and you will then be assessed.
This will be a good way to prepare if you want to enter working tests or just as a fun hobby to do with your dog.
Open to any breed of dog, not just gundog breeds.
Award certificates and rosettes will be presented if you pass the grade which you can share with friends and family.
You can then progress to the next grade, with new exercises to work on.
